Just down the road from Santa’s Lodge is the childhood homestead of Abraham Lincoln, our nation’s 16th President. The Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial is operated by the National Park Service and features a film documentary, the actual site of his log cabin and a reenactment of a working 1800’s farm. The site also contains the grave of President Lincoln’s Mother, Nancy Hanks Lincoln.
